Marcia S. Benjamin, CID – AIE Design Studio Principal Designer

Educated in the US and abroad, Marcia S. Benjamin received a Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, a Professional Designation in Interior and Environmental Design from UCLA Extension, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology, with an emphasis on Art Therapy and Universal Spatial Design. Parallel to her academic achievements, which includes passing the CCRE (California Codes and Regulations Exam) early in her career, and the new CCIDC (California Council for Interior Design Certification) IDEX exam, Marcia S. Benjamin had the privilege of attending various arts, architecture, and design seminars at the renowned Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC, Los Angeles), at the Otis Art Parsons School of Design (Los Angeles), at the University of Gama Filho (UGF, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil), and a number of design shows. With over 20 years of experience in commercial and residential design, Marcia S. Benjamin projects received recognition for conscientious universal design, space planning, and unique design character using the new principles of sustainable design while portraying a strong sense of spatial balance and overall design beauty.
